The Last Jewish Gangster begins in postwar Newark, New Jersey but follows Sugerman as he traverses the globe, rubbing shoulders with dangerous men and legendary mob figures including Longie Zwillman, Meyer Lansky, Joe "Doc" Statcher, and Tony Bananas Caponigro. He covers everything from his dealings with the fearsome Cali Cartel to helping famous Nazi hunter Simon Wiesenthal track down Dr. Josef Mengele in Paraguay, and running a joint venture gambling machine operation in Lagos. Sugerman will discuss positive contributions made by the Jewish mob in the 1930's, fighting anti-Semitism and the American Nazi Party.
