“Wise Aging: Living with Joy, Resilience & Spirit” will be presented by Norm Greenberg on Tuesday, October 9, 2018 at 1:00 pm at Temple Sholom, 594 North Bridge Street, Bridgewater, NJ. The program is $5 and refreshments will be served.

Unlike the better delineated responsibilities of our earlier years, most of us come somewhat unprepared to address this later stage of our lives. For many, this time can be unsettling, disconcerting, or just downright scary. In a safe and respectful setting, Wise Aging allows us to both listen and speak in an organized fashion, so as to gain strength and insight from one another. Elements of spirituality and meditation are woven into the subject matter – but are useful to each participant in a manner most meaningful to him/her. The ultimate target of Wise Aging is to collectively understand how to make this “third chapter” of our lives as rich and full as is feasible.
This event is sponsored by Jewish Family Service of Somerset, Hunterdon and Warren Counties as part of its Yearn to Learn Program, “Yearn to Learn: (Y2L) was created by retired and semi-retired persons looking for high quality, interactive learning experiences in small, local group settings, which promote stimulating group interaction, self-exploration and interpersonal connections.
