“What Grandparents and Trusted Adults Need to Know to Protect their Loved Ones Against Sex Trafficking” will be presented by Alec Shover, Love True Prevention Educator on Tuesday, July 24, 2018 at 1 PM. at Temple Sholom, 594 North Bridge Street, Bridgewater. The program is $5 and refreshments will be served.

An estimated 100,000 to 300,000 American youth are at risk of being victimized by sex trafficking within the United States each year, affecting all demographics and geographical areas. This workshop provides education about sex trafficking and provides tools for parents, grandparents, and trusted adults to educate children in their lives about it and watch for warning signs. Topics covered include healthy communication and boundaries, internet and app safety, and the vital role of a trusted adult. Love True is a local organization that educates youth in vulnerable communities with the wisdom they need to avoid the snares of being trafficked.
