Every Tallit Tells a Tale

A brief overview of the tallit and its significance as a ritual object will be given. A variety of beautiful tallitot from the facilitator’s personal collection will be displayed and their stories from her book by the same name will be shared. Reb Deb Smith is the founder and spiritual leader of Or Ha Lev Jewish Renewal Congregation in Morris County. She is also a Clinical Social Worker and a recipient of the prestigious Leo Brody Award, given to an outstanding professional in the field of Jewish Communal Service.
