JFS, in collaboration with Dress for Success is also offering a special Foundations of Success “For Women Only” Program on Friday, September 20, 2019 from 10:00 am – 12 noon at JFS, 150-A West High Street, Somerville, NJ.

 

The topic is “Change your Mind” presented by Jeanne Rohach, Foundations of Success Workshops Coordinator. If a situation falls short of perfect, do you think of it as a total failure?  Do you single out a single negative detail and dwell on it exclusively?  Do you discount the compliments you receive?  Do you criticize yourself and look for faults rather than strengths?  Harmful thinking patterns and self-defeating thoughts erode self-esteem and hold us back from pursing goals.  During this workshop we will explore the forms of self-defeating thoughts as well as techniques to untwist self-destructive thinking.  Come prepared to learn a variety of ways to change your mind and gain insight into managing self-talk!

 

 These groups are offered free of charge and is open to the entire community.  Funding for this program is provided by grants from The Arnold A.
